Sunny Ahn, Chief Executive Officer.
Background
Sunny brings 14 years of experience in corporate and business development to
telecommunication and database/directory companies.
Experience
Sunny is a founder of Context Connect and leads the company’s strategic and
corporate development activities. Prior to Context Connect, Mr. Ahn co-founded
Takeaclass, a database service company focused on providing marketing and
procurement services for over 800 educational institutions, which was sold to
Mindedge in 2001.
Sunny held senior management consulting positions for Ernst & Young and
GeoPartners Research (sold to Adventis in 1999), where he focused on directory
services, policy management and wireless application strategies for such firms
as AT&T, Korea Telecom, Nortel, Qualcomm, HP and SoftBank.
He also held marketing and corporate development positions for the SAS Institute
and CMGi, focused on directory technologies and telecommunications strategies
and was Chief Strategy Officer for Qixel Capital Group, an Internet/VC holding
company with investments in technology and system integration properties
throughout the Asia/Pacific region.
Sunny holds patents on the areas of directory/connectivity services and serves
on the Boards of several technology and telecommunications-related companies.
As an industry thought-leader, he frequently appears as a speaker at national
and global directory and telecommunications conferences.
Rod Drury, Chief Technology Officer.
Background
Rod has 13 years experience in telecommunication and information technology in
Australasia and North America.
Experience
Chief Technology Officer for Advantage Group, an Australasia eCommerce public
company specializing in web services and payment applications.
Rod co-founded Glazier Systems Limited, a software and consulting company
specialising in Microsoft-based Intranet, Extranet and Internet development,
which he sold to Advantage Group in 1999.
While at Ernst & Young Rod established an application development team
specializing in custom 'line of business' solutions.
For Telecom New Zealand and NYNEX in the United Sates Rod worked on the
development and implementation of call processing and billing software.
Rod was New Zealand’s first representitive on Microsoft's worldwide Regional
Director program from 1997 to 2000 and a Microsoft MVP.
Leslie G. Oliver, European Business Development Manager
Background
Les brings over 30 years of experience in telecommunications in the field of UK
& European regulatory interconnect product development and management.
Experience
International Business Development Manager for Telcordia Technologies (formally
Bellcorp), responsible for UK and Europe. Focused on regulatory interconnect
products working with in-country telecom industry groups, individual telecom
operators and national regulatory authorities.
Worked for the BT Wholesale, Equal Access Team, the team responsible for
regulatory interconnect products within the UK. Product manager for the
Non-Geographic Number Portability, Carrier Pre-Selection and Local Loop
Unbundling, working both with the teams within BT developing all aspects of the
service and with industry teams and the UK regulator.
Lead on Centralised Number Administration within BT and with the UK industry and
regulator.
Worked in the BT Number Translation Services product area. This group deals with
the freephone, Locall, National call and Premium Rate Services (PRS) products.
Delivered Universal International Freefone Service, developing an agreement
whereby major international Telecommunication Company's commit to work with BT
for provision, repair, management and billing.
