Carrier-based “Mobile DA” Solution

The Mobile DA Solution is a carrier-based directory assistance (DA) platform that allows individuals to ‘find and connect’ to wireless subscribers across multiple devices and network providers.

The solution allows individuals to control and manage their directory listing - enabling their privacy. Sample contextual directory searches include:

  • call “Mort at Corporate Cabs”
  • send an SMS message to “all community members of “The London Cricket Club”

Corporate-based Directory Solution

The CCI Corporate-based Directory Solution provides an ASP-based connectivity tool for corporations that allow employees to ‘find and connect’ to other employees, clients or partners. The solution enables corporations to create an internal/external directory tool, allowing employees to quickly connect to those individuals within their corporate environment, even when they don’t know the name of the individual they are looking for.

The solution can be customised to the specific needs of a given corporation, allowing administrators to create searching based on criteria that are appropriate to that given community. The CCI solution allows employees to create ‘role-based’ directory listings that allow for internal call connection based on roles people have within the organization. Sample connectivity searches include:

  • call the “tax partner, manufacturing industry, France”
  • send an SMS to the “IT Tech Support, Dell Computers, Denver area”

As well, the platform allows employees of companies to search available data resources, such as personal address books, corporate directories and external DA directories all through an integrated email or office suite client such as MS Outlook or Lotus Notes.

Community-based Directory Solution

The CCI Community-based Directory Solution provides an ASP-based connectivity tool for communities of individuals (such as women’s organizations, sports clubs, dating groups) to communicate with one another via a private directory platform. The solution allows members of communities to create ‘descriptive-based’ directory listings that allow for connectivity with individuals without revealing the name of the individual, rather a contextual description of the individual – thus allowing connectivity without losing privacy. Sample connectivity searches include:

  • call the “Coach, Athletics Softball Team, Boston”
  • send an SMS to all “B-ranked tennis members, Brookline Tennis Club, Monday evenings availability”

As well, the platform allows communities to create specialized Yellow Page directories of community members. Such directories would include products or services offered by members to all individuals within that given community (e.g., Gay/Lesbian organizations, Ethnic Groups).

Emergency Communicate! Platform

The CCI Emergency Communicate! Platform Solution provides the public health, safety and emergency responder and education communities with a private, real-time communication tool.

The solution allows individuals to send group messages and emergency alerts while allowing members to customize how they are found within a community or group. Individuals can create ‘role-based’ directory listings that allow for internal call connection based on roles people have within the group. Sample connectivity search includes:

  • Send message to “Fire Chief, Mid County Rescue Squad”
  • Send message to “Night Shift group, Clarkson Fire Department”

The technology enables private, group messages via multiple connectivity channels including wireless, landline, email, instant messaging, VoIP, text, chat… instantly.

AdvertDA Advertising Solution

The CCI AdvertDA Advertising Solution provides businesses with an effective ad channel directed at targeted community groups, based on the way they communicate with one another within the groups they belong to.

The AdvertDA Solution provides two platforms for targeted ads – 1) Yellow Page DA listings based on category, product or unique listing searches and 2) Community message sponsorship within communication tools for specific vertical markets (e.g., education, public safety, sporting clubs, community groups)

1. Contextual Search Engine

Our directory solutions utilize an intelligent Contextual Search Engine that provides exceptional search performance over large directory populations.

Key features of our Contextual Search Engine include

  • Support for very large population sets
  • Almost unlimited catalog replication
  • Agent controlled synonyms - allowing the engine to be tuned based on local experience
  • Rules based hierarchical searches - higher level domains must be identified before child domains are searched. This reduces noise and increases search effectiveness.
  • XML interfaces for data collection and search - its easy to seed the directory from existing directories and other data sources.
  • Search perfomance metrics - performance of the search engine and call center agents can be monitored
  • 'Last called' based on caller id - eliminates searching for repeat listings

Our Contextual Search minimizes average call handling time while providing the rigorous data structures required for Directory automation.

2. Contextual Agent Desktop

The Agent Desktop is client software used by call center agents. Key features include:

  • Simple install - easy deployment
  • Split client and server functions allowing agents to be released as soon as possible, reducing average call handling time
  • Keyboard driven interface, no mouse required
  • List caching - any search result is cached for length of the enquiry, eliminating duplicate searching
  • Modular and configurable design, to support multiple switching platforms
  • 'Last called' listings presented based on Caller ID

 3. ‘Click to Text’ Feature

Our connectivity platform allows carriers, corporations and communities to direct connect to individuals via a ‘click to text’ feature. The technology allows individuals to text people via their WAP/PDA enable phones or the web – providing a chargeable service to the carrier.
